My entry for day 7 of EQD's newbie artist training grounds.


Ah, that's more like it This was a lot less time-consuming and a lot more fun than the last one. Just a nice, simple scene.

This time, I used a bunch of different screen grabs as references for the poses and background, and then looked up a quick tutorial explaining 'How To Draw Fire' I'm still unsure about highlights, but as I said, this was fun.

EDIT: Just so that everyone knows, I'm heading to BUCK tomorrow, so I'll be away from the internet for the weekend. I will miss three themes, and I probably won't have time to catch them up. I'll probably just resume the story from the latest prompt when I get back.
